Stefan's Place
Stefan's place sits at the top of col des Ares and is a focal point of my sunday morning ride.
I never fail to stop when I pass.
I first saw stefan's place in 2006 when I looked round with a view to buying it - I was not too sure I could make it work as a 100% dedicated biker B&B despite it's location.
Stefan hasn't even tried to do that - and a whole range of outdoor activities are available. The bedrooms are of an excellent standard and it has an excellent layout a really cool place to put your feet up and have a drink at the end of a hard day's ride:

Our customer experience of this is such that we have had rental customer's renting bikes that have phoned up mid-hire specifically to reserve there for the last night or two of the return.
